The Wonderful Word Factory

Just wanted to give a little shout out to The Word Factory. I had an extraordinary year in 2016 attending their short story events. My favourites were a masterclass with A.L. Kennedy, Janice Galloway workshops Muriel Sparks, an evening with Neil Gaiman and the launch of Sex and Death: Stories. So much great advice, perhaps the best from the amazing Petina Gappah – “Have sex but don’t die.” …Perhaps not strictly writing related but still useful.
